Dual-scavenge dry sump kits and remote filter mounts


Windage Tray Re-designed windage top

We just designed a new Windage Tray for the Hayabusa engine. The tray is designed to keep more oil around the oil pump pick-up under hard cornering while keeping oil off the crankshaft and rods and back to the sump.

As a result more oil is kept in the sump and more power is developed with oil no lowindage bottomnger on the crank and rods. Use this windage tray with your oil pan or our Downs Engineering fabricated oil pan. Made of 6061T4 Aluminum. Windage Tray is $135.00 US.

For more oil pressure and volume, we carry the larger wet sump oil pumps, or the big gear and relief valve. We also have a remote oil filter for use with the increased oil pressure.

Our Dry Sump kit comes complete with oil pan, oil pump, and oil pump drive and belt for serious competition use.

Longitudinal Oil Pan

We have designed two different oil pans: 1 made for transverse engine mount and 1 made for longitudinal engine mount. These oil pans are designed to give more oil capacity than the stock cut-down pans, and to keep the oil to the oil pump pick up under hard cornering.

These oil pans will allow you to lower your engine 1 1/2" lower in your chassis than the stock oil pans. These pans are fabricated from 6061T6 and T4 aluminum. The oil pan is $395.00 and comes complete with a new gasket and bolt kit.

We can also make oil pans to your specifications if desired.


Gear Drive Unit Now Available

Dowgear drive frontns Engineering has a gear drive unit available for Hayabusa-engined cars and sand rails. This unit eliminates the need for chain drives. This gear drive unit is the way to put more power in Diasio race cars and to eliminate the Diasio chain drive.

The gear drive unit takes the drive directly from the Hayabusa output shaft through a set of quick-change gears to a limited slip differential. gear drive back

The unit also incorporates an internal reverse gear. Quick change ratios are from 2.9:1 to 3.6:1. Final drive ratio is 2.5:1.

Also available are axles and joints to suit many applications.
